I have used my MP610 for only one month, but am extremely pleased. I didn’t time it, but the “Fast” mode is very fast and better than draft quality for documents. Color does suffer in “Fast” mode. I had banding in a solid black field and colors weren’t as true to original. But in ’standard’ mode I detected no obvious faults. The ‘High’ mode with photo paper has outstanding color and detail to my layman eyes. I’ve printed heavy card stock (45#) with no problem. I dearly love the Duplex feature.

This camera is a great investment. I was so used to using my camera phone to get snapshots and video, I had no idea that it could get better than that. This camera is great for the price. The only thing I didn’t like about it was that when you use the movie feature, the sound cuts off when you try to zoom in or out..and the fact that it doesn’t play sound until you plug it into the computer. But other than that stuff, it’s awesome.
REVIEW: The Samsung S3500 Quad-bandI’VE had the same brand of cellphone since I was 16, and that’s not because I’ve had the same phone since I was 16. On the contrary, I’ve been through about seven phones in the last eight years. There was my first phone that drowned in a fishpond, another that committed suicide by jumping out of a six-storey window, a third phone that died in a freak electrical-induced accident, and a few others that were simply tossed aside because something sexier and more exciting had come to town. But of all the phones I’ve had in my life, they’ve all had one thing in common — they all belonged to the same brand.
We’re still waiting for our moment in the sun with the HTC HD2 , but already the previews and early reviews – not to mention our own launch-day hands-on – are keeping our appetites well and truly whetted. Solopalmari have managed to acquire the Windows Mobile 6.5 uber-phone and are currently reviewing the merry heck out of it; among the details there’s the first shots and footage from the HD2’s 5-megapixel autofocus camera.
I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but this is the start of week 42 of 2009, meaning that there are only 10 weeks left until the start of a new decade. Pretty exciting stuff. I can vividly remember when the ball dropped in NYC and it turned 2000. I was there. Something that wasn’t so glamorous and memorable however was my RSS reader this morning. It took only an hour to clear through 300 items, most of which were total bollocks. That being said, there were 3 mildly interesting videos that were passed around.

The HTC Touch Diamond2 is a Windows based phone that runs the Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system (can be upgraded to the new Windows Phone – WM 6.5 OS). It was launched earlier this year although we still thought we would take a look considering it can run the latest Windows Phone operating system. The new Diamond2 is a little larger than the original HTC Touch Diamond smartphone although we are only talking a few mm on each of the dimensions that make it 108 x 53 x 13.7mm in size.
