Just a few years ago, Motorola had the hottest phone (the RAZR) and everything went well for them. Unfortunately they never followed the RAZR with another industry-leading phone, and subsequently they suffered a gradual decline in their fortune. Just as the Pre is the comeback phone for Palm, the Cliq may well be the comeback phone for Motorola.

The Short Version Motorola has released the phone it should have released a few years ago to compete with phones like the Helio Ocean and feature phones from LG and Samsung.
