I’ve heard about the Android OS for a fair bit while now… as with any Google product, there will be tonnes of rave about it. I must say though, not all raves were good – INITIALLY. Some complained that the operating system looked a little blend, it didn’t give much oomph and honestly the first few generations of Android based devices didn’t look anything close to SEXY…. here’s one of the first few devices running on the OS, the G1 Not pretty? Well, all that is going to change… presenting the latest, the greatest, HTC Hero! This thing just brings the word ’sexy’ to a completely different level.

We can easily declare 2009 year of fashion cell phone follow-ups. Some months ago we introduced you to the LG PRADA II . Now we’ve got our hands on the prototype of the second Samsung with the Giorgio Armani logo on it ( M7500 Night Effect was branded as Emporio Armani). There is only one thing in common between these two though, the presence of a full QWERTY keyboard. While the LG PRADA II seems to have gained extra weight and managed to ruin the image of its trendy predecessor, the Giorgio Armani B7620 is another cup of tea.
Verizon Wireless Razzle Reviewnokiafaq.com

When the Verizon Wireless Blitz came out a year ago, we weren’t that impressed by its quality and features (or lack thereof). Now that its replacement, the Verizon Wireless Razzle has been released, we’re interested in seeing if the new model is more competent and better equipped, though it does have touch competition from other messaging devices, such as the Samsung Intensity, Alias 2, and LG enV3. Included in the retail box in the Razzle phone, 920mAh battery, wall charger, USB data cable, 1GB microSD memory card, and user guide.

While the current trend and talk of the mobile phone industry is the touchscreen, here is one unit that does not feature one and that I am generally very very excited for. It is Nokia’s first ever half QWERTY phone. Instead of a standard 12 numerical keypad, the Nokia E55 has a Blackberry Pearl-esque 20-key keypad. RIM calls theirs the SureType, Nokia calls it the half-QWERTY. Whatever the keypad is called, I have had my eyes on this device since it was announced early this year. You don’t get much with the E55’s sales package.

Verizon just launched its new Motorola “Droid” after managing to create some buzz with its bold video release “ iDont ” DroidDoes ( Check out how the Apple fan boys reacted to iDon’t ). I did get a lot of time to play around with Verizon Droid and check out the applications and other things on the phone. Verizon guys were more than happy to spend a lot of time explaining the features and all the other Droid related stuff. I personally liked the phone.

Click for larger version AreaMobile.de have published another review of the HTC HD2 , this time a lengthy 6 page text one (which at least lets us use Google translate), and like nearly everyone else who has used the phone, they are very very impressed. At the end of their review they concluded: Conclusion With the sales launch of HD2 iPhone losing its dominant position in the mobile market. Technically, the HTC smartphone, in all respects preferable to use at least comes close to the cult phone.
